FAQ - If you have a question feel free to contact me!

  • Are you open for commissions?
Check my FurAffinity, Facebook or Twitter page regularly for openings and available slots.

  • Do you take requests or art trades?
No.

  • Can I re-post/upload your artwork?
If it's a commission you've paid for you can use it for any non-profit purpose without editing the image which includes uploading it to your galleries with artistic credit. If the character in the image belongs to you it can also be used for non-profit purposes. However if you don't own anything in the image and did not commission it you are not, under any circumstances, allowed to use or re-post my artwork to any website.

  • How long have you been drawing for?
It's been an ongoing hobby for as long as I can remember. From puzzle and colouring books as a kid to scribbling through my math books in highschool. In fact if you look at my art theory notes from university you'll find far more art than theory.

  • Have you studied art?
When I was 18 I decided I had a skill and needed to do something with it. I studied Graphic Design/Multimedia at the University of Ballarat for 3 years and upon graduating I decided a freelance illustration career was the right move for me. The technicalities of graphic design didn't appeal to me as a career choice. In terms of illustration I am mostly self taught however I did get education on colour study and how to use digital programs at uni.

  • How do you price your commissions?
My commission prices are based on a combination of time and quality. I have a rough estimate of how long each commission type takes and charge around $40 - $50 per hour. From there I raise or lower the price based on what other people charge, what I'd personally pay and what I feel it's worth. When demand or my own skills increase I feel I can justify increasing the prices as well.

  • What tools do you use to create your digital art?
I use a Wacom Intuos Pro Medium graphics tablet and Photoshop CC or Clip Studio Paint. My PC has graphics cards designed for gaming which also makes the colours I work with clear and crisp. I occasionally also use a Surface Pro 4 for sketching and simple work.

  • Do you make traditional art?
I have the art tools available to create pencil, marker and acrylic images, however my skills are slightly less due to lack of practice. I am far more practised in semi-realistic work in these mediums than character work.

  • Do you live stream your artwork?
I occasionally host streams of commission work on Picarto. Streams are announced on FurAffinity and Twitter. I generally don't let clients know if I'm streaming their commission or not as streams are a casual thing for me and not an every day thing.

  • What won't you draw?
I generally answer this question on a case per case basis. I will draw adult content, however I have limits to what I'm comfortable with.

  • Do you draw anything other than furries?
While I don't get extensive practice in other fields of focus I have done graphic design work, logos, comics, human portraits, pet portraits and tattoo designs in the past. If you're interested in something but don't see it in my gallery or commission options just send me an email and we can establish a price.

  • Do you attend cons?
You can find me in the Dealer's Den during FurDU on the Gold Coast. In 2021 I also plan to attend WAFF in Perth.
