All the information below applies to every client for every commission. Being friends with the artist or commissioning them often will not exempt the client from any of the following terms. Please read carefully before commissioning the artist.

Payment
- Payment must be made upfront via PayPal within 48 hours of your commission being accepted. This 48 hours begins when an invoice has been sent, no sooner. (Commissions via VGen fall under their terms of payment not mine).
- If payment is not made within the time restriction you will lose your commission slot and must apply again at a later date.
- Partial payments can be discussed for commissions over $300 before a commission application is sent. If not discussed you will be invoiced the full amount. $300 minimum is expected upfront for all commissions with split payment. For commissions exceeding $600, 50% is expected upfront.
- Work will not begin on any commission until it has been paid for in full.

Additional Charges
- High detail characters (complicated markings or anatomy eg. wings, additional tails and limbs) may add an extra cost to your commission determined by the level of detail.
- If you cannot supply a clear flat colour or swatched reference sheet you may receive a ‘ref image’ charge of up to $30 AUD. This is up to the artist's discretion. (Please note if you don’t have an image reference at all your commission will be rejected.)
- Excessive changes throughout the commission process eg. exceeding the two sketch update limit (see Updates & Approvals) or changing your idea from that submitted in your application, will create charges per hour that must be paid before the commission’s completion.

Refunds
- A client initiated refund can only be given before work has begun.
- Commissions taken at conventions paid for with cash or card will not be refunded. Paypal transactions only.
- I will only freely give a refund once work has begun if 1. I cannot complete the commission for any reason or 2. I no longer wish to work with the client.

Time Estimates
- Once your commission has been accepted and paid for you will be added to my schedule. You can view this by clicking the 'queue' link in the menu above. This date is a rough estimate at which your commission will be completed unless unforeseen circumstances push your commission back further. If this happens it will be announced on social media (FurAffinity, Telegram & Twitter).

Communication
- All finalised commission related discussion MUST occur via email only.
- Any official commission related changes or additional requests during the process that are sent to me via social media or instant message services are invalid and may be missed or forgotten.
- You may contact me via Twitter, Bluesky, Telegram or Discord for questions, but not official additions/changes to your commission.

Updates and Approvals
- Once a commission has begun you will receive a sketch to approve or alter. You will be given two revisions to the image during the sketch stage only. Any further changes will incur extra charges.
- Once the sketch stage is complete the remainder of the commission will be completed without updates unless specifically requested by you.
- I reserve the right to refuse any changes at the end of a commission unless it is a character mistake made by me after the sketch stage. (Marking or colour changes.) All anatomy/expression issues should be settled during the sketch stage.
- I will not revisit an image if your character has changed in appearance in that time (reference sheets are no longer an exception to this rule).

Convention Commissions and YCHs
- Convention commissioners MUST send their ref and details within 6 months of commission purchase. After this time the artist reserves the right to cancel the commission. (Please note the artist will not enforce this if their queue itself has exceeded the 6 months).
- YCHs purchased both at conventions and online are subject to the restrictions written in the YCH description (in regards to gender, form, species etc).
- WIP updates of YCHs must be requested specifically by the client. Otherwise the artist will treat the piece as an approved sketch for completion.

Rights
- Your commission is for personal use only. You may repost, print or reproduce on items (stickers etc) for personal use with credit given to the artist. You may not use your commission for any monetary purposes or post cropped versions without credit. You may not hire another artist to make changes to your commission without written permission from the artist.
- The artist retains rights to your commission for the purposes of self-promotion and reproduction. The artist has the right to post their artwork on their own socials, use for promotional materials and include in art prints and art book collections. If you do NOT want your image sold in any capacity this can be discussed with the artist at the beginning of your commission process. If not discussed prior, the artist reserves the right to sell any remaining stock that may have been produced.
- Any artwork by Silvixen is NOT to be used in relation with generative AI in any capacity. It may not be used to train any AI programs, reproduced, altered or used in conjunction with AI content. Any client or otherwise found to be using my work in conjunction with AI will be given a permanent blacklist from future dealings and lose ALL personal rights to their image without refund.
- Commercial rights may be aquired for an additional fee but must be discussed, quoted and agreed upon before work begins. Silvixen's rights terms reflect copyright and intellectual property law. If you would like more freedom and ownership of your project please discuss commercial rights with the artist.
